Convicted molester, former TV actor Mark Chow Yee Sze, was slapped with more jail time on Friday - a day before he was due to be released after he was understood to be granted remission for "good behaviour". In April, Chow, 30, was jailed for a total of four months and six weeks for molestation and criminal intimidation. But High Court Judge Steven Chong increased his sentence by more than four-fold to 18 months after the prosecution appealed against Chow's $6,000 fine which he served four weeks' jail in default and the four-month for the molestation charges.Discounting the time Chow had already served behind the cage, that means he would have to spend at least another year in jail. Chow, who owned a modelling agency, had touched a woman's breast while she was semi-conscious in a pub. He molested another woman on the pretext of examining her suitability to be a model. Concurring that the previous sentence was "manifestly inadequate", Justice Chong also noted that Chow had shown a lack of remorse.

According to the paragraph, the actor is a career that a lot of people want to have. This guy was drunk(I think) and he cannot control himself, so he molesting a woman he knew before. In this case, I think that everyone need to know a limit how can you drink and you not get drunk. Alcohol is good for some reason but not most of all.

Jay Chou had visited the Marina Bay Sands Casino during his concert tour in the republic last month. He gambled off between S$100,000 and S$200,000 per bet. In just two days, Chou lost almost S$2mil playing bacarrat. A customer of the casino said Chou was accompanied by his manager and male friends. According to the customer, Chou had good etiquette on the gambling table and he only wanted to be served by “aunties”. A later report stated that Jay Chou's manager company, however, denied the news. He said Chou had only lost S$1,000 at the casino. "The person who lost that much money was not Jay."

In my opinion, every gamble are not good for you. Don’t start!!. If you think it will ok, if you only take one time for gamble. In fact, if you loss you will need to play more to get it back. It will bring you more and more trouble.

Long bus routes will be cancel ?

Let’s talk about the long bus routes in Singapore that have some problem because some of bus routes could be cancelled in the future.

Long bus routes are here to stay, Second Minister for Transport Lim Hwee Hua confirmed yesterday. That is because these services provide "comprehensive connections to all parts of Singapore", especially those that the MRT does not reach. She was responded to Non-Constituency MP Sylvia Lim, who sought clarification over the Government's announcement that some longer bus routes would be discontinued. Mrs. Lim explained the possibility of splitting some of the long bus routes during LTA's public consultations where some residents felt these services were more sensitive to delays caused by poor traffic conditions. Said Mrs. Lim: "The option of splitting long bus routes will be studied together with other proposals, and it will only be considered when it is sensible to do so."The LTA will check factors such as available travel alternatives; overall journey times; fare implications; and the special needs of the elderly and the disabled.

In my opinion, I think it is necessary to cancelled some of long bus routes that are not useful and it will decrease the country’s expenses for refuel for the buses. On the other hand, if the government discontinued the long bus routes. People that used to travel by these buses will complain about why the government discontinued it. After that, it will have a lot of question that Singapore’s government has to answer. For the example, How can we travel if these buses are no longer available for us anymore, if I used it in a daily routine, how can I go to work?

Preparedness for shuttle athletes around YOG

Some 700 vehicles will be used to shuttle athletes and officials around the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) venues. "Measures will include the management of the buses using the Global Positioning System and the management of the traffic on the roads with our Command Centre at the Intelligent Transport Systems Centre" said LTC Lau Hui Boon, chairman of Bus Operations, at YOG Organising Committee. The routes are closely monitored with contingency plans to fix potential traffic problems. Two transport malls have been set up for the event, one at the Youth Olympic Village at Nanyang Technological University and other at the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort. They serve as pickup points from where game audiences will travel to the another venues. In addition, the bus shuttle services will provided from some of MRT stations for spectators to watching the games. They will departed from the Kallang, Admirality, Tampines and Bedok stations.

In my opinion, Singapore is ready to be a host for YOG because they have a good plan to manage if they got a problem. In the other hand, if local people are not cooperate with the organizers, this event will unsuccessful.

Singapore students clinch 18 medals at international olympiads

Singapore students gained a total of 18 medals at four International Olympiads for Science and Mathematics. First, Singapore team received one Gold and three Silver medals at the 21^st International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in Changwon, Korea. Singapore was placed in ninth in a field of 233 students from 58 countries. Second, at the 41st International Physics Olympiad (IPO). Singapore team received one Gold and four Silver medals. This time Singapore was placed in seventh in a field of 367 students from 82 countries. This year is an improvement over Singapore's eighth placing in 2009. Third, at the 42^nd International Chemistry Olympiad. The Singapore team received two Gold and two Silver medals. Singapore was placed in fourth in a field of 267 students from 68 countries. Fourth, at the 51^st International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) held in Kazakhstan, the Singapore team received four Silver, one Bronze medal and one Honourable Mention. Singapore was placed 22^nd in a field of 517 students from 96 countries.

In my opinion, nowadays a kids are clever. Some of them are genius. May be Singapore need to build an event to find a new team for compete in an international events and this will help students who wanted to try how best they are. .

YOG holidays for student in Singapore

Polytechnics have planned holidays for students during Youth Olympic Games. This holidays are useful for students who have been a volunteering at the game but polytechnics are not the ideal audience in this YOG because most of them are older than the competitors that is 14-18 years old. On the other hand, primary and secondary school students that have age between 6-16 especially those in school or national team who could qualified to compete in future games will not be able to watch the YOG events.
In my opinion, I think this is good for students who interested in this event. In the other hand, if a school gave holidays for students to attend the event, but I think not all of the students will attended to the event. I think some of them will sleep at home or go out with their friends which are not useful for their holidays.

Youth Olympic Games (YOG) 2010

This Youth Olympic Games 2010 will host by Singapore. This event will depend on 14-26 August. The competitors aged 14-18 from 205 National Olympic contest the same 26 sports (although with a limited number of disciplines) Youth Olympic Village to be sited at Nanyang Technological University. This YOG has a sport such as Archery, Badminton, Boxing, Basketball, Canoe and Kayak, Cycling, Equestrian, Fencing, Football, Gymnastic, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Volleyball, and another coulpe sports left.

In my opinion, I think this YOG can find a new athletes in this games, YOG is also keep those teenagers away form drugs.

Singapore lose Thailand 0-1 in Thailand Kings Cup

Kings Cup @Nakornratchasima, Thailand. At the beginnging, both 2 teams were opened the game but cannot goal. Minute 14 Thailand nearly get a goal but the goalkeeper can save from that shoot. End of first half score was 0-0. When second half was began. in 54 minutes Dusakorn Thonglao pass the ball to Lee-Sor shot but suddenly, the center half can kick the ball out of the field. In a couple minutes, Thailand has 10 players because Lee-Sor foul and got second yellow cards and immedietly recieve a red card and need to left the game. At 58 minutes Thailand got a free-kick and this free-kick makes Sigapore lose. Full time Singapore lose Thailand 0-1

My favorite international artis is Shayne Ward. He has a beautiful voice and also his song is very meaningful. The most song I like is "No Promises". This song is about a man who is loved woman very much, and he don't want to let her go away from him. Shayne Ward has a good looking always. Some of my friends is like him also. Some of his fan compare him like a sexy man.

Tattoo Colour is my favorite band for me. They are a group of people who love to play music together, and they enjoy when they perform, so all of their concert is always fun. Also, the meaning of their songs is very meaningful. They have many kinds of meaning. For example, Cinderella. This song has meaning about one night girl. She is so pretty, but she disappear when it is midnight, so this song has a fun beat. I loved when they preform at their or in a big concert. They have a lot of fan club. I am a little fan club of them =]]
